Space Jam: A New Legacy Review

2 out of 4 stars

The target audience (children) will enjoy it, but this sequel is a step down in quality. Blatant product placement aside, the biggest problem is the lack of clever comedy or dialogue. The first film was no masterpiece, but there was some witty dialogue and memorable moments. Space Jam: A New Legacy is not entirely awful, just bland. Children will like it, and many might enjoy the upbeat nature and family themes. LeBron is ok, I guess, but his acting feels forced at times. The most memorable performance is from Don Cheadle, who goes way over the top, but enjoys himself.
